ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Gettysburg College women’s tennis team ended its spring season with a 9-0 loss to host Muhlenberg College in a Centennial Conference match on Saturday, April 25. The Bullets close the season 7-9 overall and 3-7 in conference play.

Muhlenberg (10-4, 8-2 CC), ranked ninth in the Atlantic South Region, dropped only two games in each of its three doubles victories against Gettysburg. The Mules then opened with straight-set victories at each of the top-five singles flights, though freshman Kylle O’Sullivan (Worcester, Mass./Worcester Academy) forced a second-set tiebreaker before dropping a 6-3, 7-6 (5) decision.

Senior Mary McConnell (Rye, N.Y./Rye) narrowly missed a victory in her final collegiate contest, falling to Madeleine Goldfarb in a super-tiebreaker at No. 6 5-7, 6-4 10-2.
