GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Gettysburg College head equipment manager Kelly Jones was featured in the latest issue of Athletic Management magazine.

Jones, who concluded her 22nd year at Gettysburg in 2008-09, was quoted numerously in the June/July issue's story titled “Equipment Managers and Athletic Safety.” The article focuses on the evolving role of collegiate equipment managers in an ever-changing athletic environment.

The national equipment manager of the year in 2005 and a three-time district equipment manager of the year, Jones is currently the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) national certification chairperson. She has also served an 11-year stint as the AEMA District 2 continuing education representative.
