GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Seniors Kelly Eurich (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) and Meghan Kelly (Easton, Conn./Kent School) each posted their sixth-straight singles victories, but it wasn't enough to lift Gettysburg College past Dickinson College as the visiting Red Devils posted a 6-3 decision on Thursday, April 15.

Dickinson (9-4, 5-1 CC), ranked 16th in the latest Atlantic South regional poll, picked up its fourth consecutive win at the expense of Gettysburg (9-5, 3-4 CC). The Red Devils won each of the top two doubles flights before sophomores Liz Heisler (Gwynedd, Pa./Wissahickon) and Kylle O'Sullivan (Worcester, Mass./Worcester Academy) managed an 8-4 win at No. 3.

The visitors opened with wins at third and first singles before Eurich stemmed the tide with a 6-3, 7-5 win over Joelle Nitzberg at the second flight. Eurich, who trailed 5-4 before winning the final three games in the second set, improved to a team-best 11-3 with the decision.

After Dickinson clinched the match with a wins at fourth and sixth singles, Kelly joined Eurich in the win column by beating Leigh Oczkowski in three sets 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 at No. 5.

Gettysburg will face Ursinus College on Saturday, April 17, at noon in Collegeville, Pa.
