HERSHEY, Pa. – Juniors Peter Ruymann and Connor Delaney each shot below 80 for the Gettysburg College men's golf team Thursday at the Elizabethtown Invitational, held at the Hershey Country Club East Course.

The Bullets finished with a team score of 336 to place ninth among 12 teams. Messiah College won the team title with a 300.

Ruymann tied for 11th among 60 competitors, shooting a season-low 78. Delaney was one stroke back, tying for 15th and tying his career-low with a 79.

Also competing for Gettysburg was senior Matt Anderson, who placed 41st with an 87, and junior Colin Quinn, who took 51st with a 92.

Chris Lawler of Cabrini College captured medalist honors with a 72.

Gettysburg returns to action on Monday, when they compete at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational.
