NABC Honors Court
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Rising senior guard
Paul Crone of the Gettysburg College men's basketball team has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court, it was recently announced.
In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior academically, a member of the varsity team, hold a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher, have matriculated at least one year at their current institution, and be a member of an NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA institution.
Last season, Crone played in 23 games for the Bullets while making seven starts. He posted 69 points, 22 rebounds, and 15 assists for the year, including a 13-point game against nationally-ranked Franklin & Marshall College in December.
A mathematics and management double major, Crone was also named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll in each of the last past two seasons.
Gettysburg finished the season 15-11 (12-6 CC) and reached the championship game of the Centennial Conference tournament for the third year in a row.
