GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Washington College won the top two doubles competitions and the top five singles matches to clinch a 7-2 win over Gettysburg College in women's tennis action on Saturday.
 
Gettysburg (8-6, 3-5 CC) prevented a sweep in doubles as seniors Kelsey Boyce (Arrowsic, Maine/Morse) and Meg Kelly (Beach Haven, N.J./Southern Regional) defeated Kat Cohen and Amy Stevens 8-3 at the third flight.
 
Senior Bev Keyes (East Hampton, N.Y./East Hampton) posted Gettysburg's lone win in singles with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Stevens at the sixth flight. Two matches were decided in 10-point tiebreakers with Washington (6-10, 4-5 CC) coming out with victories. Campbell McNicol edged Kelly 6-1, 4-6, 10-8 at the No. 2 position, while Cohen topped senior Laura Habecker (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Country Day School) 6-3, 1-6, 10-5 at No. 3.
 
Gettysburg travels to No. 6 Johns Hopkins University for a match on Thursday, April 25, at 3:30 p.m.
