LANCASTER, Pa. – The Gettysburg College men's tennis team fell to regionally-ranked Franklin & Marshall College 9-0 in a Centennial Conference match up on Wednesday.
Franklin & Marshall (9-8, 6-1 CC), rated ninth in the Atlantic South Region, dropped only seven games in a doubles sweep. William MacArthur and Nolan Bacchieri downed senior
Chris Curran (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Ludlowe) and freshman
Dave Musser (Lititz, Pa./Manheim Twp.) 8-3 at No. 1.
Musser and Curran picked up the most points in singles play. Musser won five games in a 6-1, 6-4 loss to MacArthur at the second flight, while Curran fell to Ross Silverberg 6-1, 6-3 at the top position.
Gettysburg closes the season at McDaniel College on Saturday, April 27, at 1 p.m.
