CARLISLE, Pa. – Sophomore
Ben Taber (Durham, Conn./Coginchaug Regional) placed fifth out of 50 runners to lead the Gettysburg College men's cross country team at the Little Three Meet, hosted by Dickinson College, on Wednesday evening.
The Bullets finished 0-2 on the night, falling 16-47 to 15th-ranked Dickinson and 24-31 to Franklin & Marshall College.
Taber cruised the 5,000-meter course in 16:01, finishing just 14 seconds behind winner Joey Steadman from Dickinson.
Junior
Jackson Davis (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) was the Bullets' second finisher, taking 14th in 16:42. Sophomore
Nathan Wojick (Milford, N.J./Delaware Valley Regional) came in 23rd in 17:04 while junior
Tyler Sadka (Edgewater, Md./South River) was close behind, placing 25th in 17:07. Junior
Noah Rossiter (New Milford, Conn./New Milford) completed the team scoring, taking 27th in 17:14.
Dickinson also defeated F&M 15-50.
The Bullets resume their schedule on Sept. 20 at the Dickinson Invitational.
