The athletic facilities at the College are among the best in Division III. The field hockey, football, and track and field teams compete on the artificial grass surface at Shirk Field at Musselman Stadium. Clark Field opened its gates in 2004 and plays host to the Bullets soccer and women's lacrosse teams. Located in the shadow of the Peace Light Memorial, Bobby Jones Field and Kirchhoff Field play host to the softball and baseball teams, respectively. Outside facilities also include 12 courts for varsity tennis.
Indoors, Bream Gymnasium is a versatile venue which plays host to the basketball teams, wrestling, and the volleyball program. It is part of the Bream-Wright-Hauser Athletic Complex which also houses the offices of the athletics department.
The newest and grandest addition to the athletic facilities at Gettysburg College is The John F. Jaeger Center for Athletics, Recreation and Fitness. Completed in the fall of 2009, the 55,000-square foot facility contains a fitness center equipped with the latest workout equipment, a student lounge and refreshment bar known as "The Dive," and an eight-lane natatorium that hosts the Bullets swim teams.
