Nathan, Bullets Cap Fall on Top at McDaniel

HAMPSTEAD, Md. – Sophomore Caroline Nathan won her first event of the year on a tiebreaker and the Gettysburg College women’s golf team closed the fall with a first-place finish at the McDaniel College Fall Invitational hosted by the Piney Branch Golf Club on Thursday, Oct. 8.

Women’s Golf Finishes Fourth at Cortland, Breaks School Record

CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Gettysburg College women’s golf team set a new school standard for a 36-hole tournament by recording a 706 (354-352) at the SUNY Cortland Martin & Wallace Invitational on Oct. 3-4. The Bullets finished fourth overall among nine scoring teams led by junior Marybeth Scott’s tie for 19th.

Nathan Earns Medalist Honors, Bullets Take Second at CCs

NEW TRIPOLI, Pa. – History did not repeat itself Sunday during the final round of the 2009 Centennial Conference Championships at Olde Homestead Golf Course as the Gettysburg College women’s golf team was unable to make up the ground necessary to claim its second-straight conference crown, finishing runner-up behind McDaniel College by nine strokes. However, the Bullets did walk away with individual medalist honors for the second year in a row with freshman Caroline Nathan claiming the top spot.
