After finishing first at the McDaniel College Invitational to end the fall season, Gettysburg captured the championship at Mayapple with a combined score of 369, out-pacing the host Red Devils by 31 strokes.

Dickinson's Anne Marshall captured medalist honors with a 90, finishing one stroke ahead of one of her teammates and a pair of Bullets. Gettysburg sophomore Caroline Nathan (Bethesda, Md./Walt Whitman) and freshman Molly Nulty (Gettysburg, Pa./Homer) each posted 91s, with the former posting the best nine-hole score of the tournament with a 42 on the back nine.

Junior Marybeth Scott (Chester Springs, Pa./The Hill School) carded a 92 to finish in a tie for fifth and freshman Valerie Leone (Riverside, Conn./Greenside) rounded out Gettysburg's scoring four with a 95, putting her in a tie for seventh overall. Junior Lauren Walsh (Ridgefield, Conn./Ridgefield) closed the scoring for the Orange and Blue with an even 100, giving Gettysburg five of the top 10 scores on the day.
