GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Senior Dale Beshore (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin East) picked up wins at third doubles and second singles, but Gettysburg dropped its third-straight match 6-3 to regionally-ranked Haverford College Saturday afternoon.

Gettysburg (6-6, 1-4 CC) trailed just 2-1 following doubles as Beshore and junior Will Brinks (Havertown, Pa./Episcopal Academy) grinded out a 9-7 victory over Matthew Cebul and Natty Sergay at No. 3.

Haverford (6-3, 3-2 CC), ranked 11th in the Atlantic South Region, won three singles matches in straight-sets to close out the win. Sophomore Sebastian Rodriguez (Plano, Texas/Plano West) improved to 9-3 for Gettysburg with a 7-5, 6-0 win at fifth singles. Beshore added the host's final point after the match was decided by earning a win in a super-tiebreaker to complete a 6-2, 4-6, 10-6 decision at the second flight.

Sophomore Mike McLaughlin (Hanover, Pa./South Western) just missed a victory at the fourth slot before falling in a super-breaker to Sergay 5-7, 6-2, 10-6.

Gettysburg continues its conference schedule on Wednesday, April 14, by hosting Dickinson College at 4 p.m.
