2010 All-CC Men's Tennis Team

Chris Curran (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Ludlowe) capped his debut season as a member of the Gettysburg College men's tennis team by being named All-Centennial Conference Second-Team Singles according to an announcement by the league office on Friday, April 30.
Curran was one of three freshmen named all-conference and he was the first Bullet to land on the team since Hans Hardisty in 2005. Playing at the top singles position for much of the year, he finished second on the squad with a dozen victories. He was 7-5 overall at the top flight, while winning all four of his matches at No. 2 and going 1-2 at the Mount St. Mary's Fall Invitational. In conference competition, Curran went 4-5 with three of those setbacks at the hands of regionally-ranked foes.
Curran finished with a team-high 25 combined victories in his first year on the squad, posting a 13-7 record in doubles action while teaming with an assortment of partners at all three flights.
Gettysburg finished 9-8 overall and 3-6 in the Centennial Conference during the 2009-10 campaign.
