Box Score GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Gettysburg College out-scored Haverford College 12-2 in the second half to claim a 20-8 victory and advance to the title game of the Centennial Conference Championship in women's lacrosse at Clark Field on Saturday.
Fourth-ranked and top seed Gettysburg (15-2) will face sixth-ranked and No. 2 seed Franklin & Marshall College (16-2) in Sunday's championship tilt at 3 p.m. The Diplomats defeated Washington College (11-5) 15-8 in Saturday's second semifinal.

Mandy Buell (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) scored five of her game-high six goals in the second half and recorded her 200th career point in the game. Freshman
Katie Landry (Hingham, Mass./Hingham) tossed in five goals, while junior
Abby Baigelman (Larchmont, N.Y./Mamaroneck) posted three goals and one assist. Sophomore
Shannon Keeler (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) managed nine saves for the hosts.
Gettysburg jumped all over Haverford (11-8) in the opening minutes with Baigelman scoring the first tally 57 seconds into the contest and Landry tossing in back-to-back scores to make it 3-0 at 25:40.
Haverford was the only team to defeat Gettysburg during the conference regular season and the Fords retained that upset-minded approach on Saturday. The visitors slowed the Bullets' attack and turned in four of the next six goals to pull to 6-4 with 12:45 left in the first half of play.
Diana Perry sliced the deficit to 7-6 on a goal with just over five minutes remaining before the half. Buell netted her first goal to boost her team ahead by two entering the break.
In the final stanza, Haverford jumped on the board first as Perry converted 53 seconds into the frame to make it 8-7. The Fords would get no closer as the Bullets scored each of the next 10 goals, including four in the next three minutes. Buell accounted for half of the output with a personal five-goal run which made it 15-7 with 15:45 to play. Junior

Maggie Connolly (Winchester, Mass./Winchester) scored the final goals of the run to make it 18-7 with 10:24 left.
Gettysburg finished with a 34-22 advantage in shots and an 18-12 lead in draw controls. The Bullets connected on all five of their free-position shots.

Amanda Borucki (Westminster, Md./North Carroll) netted two goals and one assist, while junior
Samantha Aiello (Sparks, Md./Maryvale Prep) posted a goal and an assist. Senior
Bridget Kenny (Gladstone, N.J./Bernards) dished out a pair of assists and grabbed four draw controls. Connolly grabbed six draw controls. Senior
Allie Clark (Wynnewood, Pa./Episcopal Academy) tallied three ground balls and two caused turnovers to lead the defense.
Perry and Molly Lausten each scored two goals for Haverford, while Sarina Manetta added a goal, four ground balls, and two caused turnovers.
Franklin & Marshall wore down Washington in the day's second contest. After Carley Kendall handed the Shorewomen a 2-1 advantage six minutes in, the Diplomats rattled off the next four goals to jump back in front. Caroline Lovett kept Washington within two goals by recording two of the next three tallies, but Franklin & Marshall posted a four-goal run spanning the end of the first period and beginning of the second to grab a 10-4 lead with 21 minutes to go.
Washington would get no closer than five goals the rest of the way.
Gabby Frank, Paige Moriarty, Grace Saliba, and Brittney Jorgenson each scored a pair of goals for Franklin & Marshall. Moriarty also dished out four assists.
Danielle Harrington notched nine saves for the Diplomats.
Liz Godorov, Caroline Lovett, and Kendall each posted two goals for Washington.
Gettysburg defeated Franklin & Marshall 14-11 during the regular season. The two teams have met in the Centennial Conference championship game 11 times in the last 12 seasons. The Bullets have won six of those meetings, including each of the last two. The all-time series between the two rivals is tied 28-28-1.
